Like several others who have posted on this thread, I enjoy reading
crime fiction. Some time ago I discovered the �Inspector Rebus� novels
of Scottish writer Ian Rankin. If you like the dark, edgy atmosphere
of gritty, well written thrillers combined with a strong evocation of
place (in this case, Edinburgh) I�m sure you�ll really enjoy these
novels. Coincidentally, the first of two movie length versions of
Rankin�s stories appeared on TV here last Friday evening.
