The Lesbian and Gay Review (or was it Gay and Lesbian? It used to be called the Harvard Review) has a review of Joni's May concert in Connecticut, told from the point of view of a 'fallen' Joni fan and his companion, a true devotee. It's a nice read, with a few thoughts on Joni's diva-ness.
