Bob, who recalls a Broadway tune from The Boys Fron Syracuse (?) that starts

out "Fie on goodness, fie!"

Nope! It's from "Camelot" - the song is sung by knights before they go out
to do battle.

(The music of Camelot and My Fair Lady were burned into my brain because my
father used to listen to both endlessly...)
