My local CBS affiliate is airing "Tina Turner: One Last Time" from Wembley
Stadium tonight at 10 o'clock Eastern time. God love her, this trooper has
been on the road with her concert tour since last spring. I was lucky enough
to be in the seventh row at one of her Boston appearances in early June (one
week after Joni's Boston concert) and she was spectacular. I've also seen her
with Ike in '69 and during her "Private Dancer" tour in '82 or '83. In my
experience, a Tina concert is not to be missed. Check your local listings and
pray that CBS doesn't screw it up.
