participated in.  They say "Levinson had thought of going from country to 
country for other views on love. Nancy Dowd was recruited. He approached 
Joni Mitchell, a Canadian, to write the music for the film. She decided 
instead to write one of the screenplays - and star in it as well."

Joni.  "When friends who had read the tabloid stories suggested she might

facts: She found 15 matches"
