An "irregardless" story:
In the 70's, a student at NCSU in Raleigh got an F on an English paper for
using the word, which he was told was not a legitimate word. When he
graduated and opened a vegetarian restaurant around the corner from the
school, he named it the "Irregardless Cafe". Best omellette I ever had!
As far as I know, it's still there and doing well!
