Not having seen White Christmas in a long time, my first guess was that you
had seen Russ Tamblyn, who played Riff in West Side Story and has had a long
career as an actor and dancer in movies, TV and Broadway.
However, I checked the Internet Movie Database to confirm my suspicion and
found that it was actually George Chakiris who was the Unnamed Dancer in
White Christmas and played Bernardo, leader of the Sharks, in West Side Story.
