Some of you in the midwest may not be so appreciative of this post but
here goes.
It was snowing in downtown Seattle when I was out & about this
afternoon. Not enough to accumulate and the wind wasn't blowing
much - just enough to look pretty coming down. 'Winter Wonderland'
had floated through my head at one point but just as I was heading
back to work, I started singing 'Hejira.' Has anyone else ever sung
this song while walking through a snowfall? It was divine. What a
wonderful, wonderful song to sing on a
moody-sky-snow-gathering-like-bolts-of-lace kind of day.
