Greetings geekazoid!! I hope you can contribute again as you bring an interesting and unusual perspective to the group. (Alas, we get so little inter-galactic content.) I noticed that you use the expression "eh?". This expression is widely used in Joni's Canada. Is it a Geek influence on Canadian culture or merely a co-incidence? Are you Geeks responsible for the fact that half of my socks keep disappearing? Was Jesus a Geek? Ross Perot? BTW, Clark, your CD is very interesting. The first time I heard "Boys On The Sand", my jaw hit the floor. (For those who haven't heard this song on Clark's CD, it's a sort of gay spin on the Beach Boys song "The Girls On The Beach"). I always suspected that gay/lesbian people had these deep feelings too but there's such a big wall that these things are rarely expressed by gay artists. (Or maybe they are but since it's not my genre, I've never seen it before.) Anyway, my hat's off to you for this courageous lyric and for the warm nod to Brian Wilson: "My car ain't really cool But I still get around. I can't be true to school cause it's been years since cap and gown. I may not have a boyfriend but I'm singin in a band. And (on) weekends I got My boys on the sand." BTW, Colin, sorry to hear about you getting ripped off. I suggest moving to Kentucky, or Ohio. In my 45 years I have been ripped off exactly zero times. You can just pick up and leave can't you? No? BTW, Alison, it sounds like your local copy of the SonicNet software isn't decompressing the audio anymore. I'd un-install it, then re-install. My 2 cents as a computer tech who's not familiar with Sonicnet. I may not be right on this but I'm looking to be helpful. After all........ Alison, my aim is true. I wuv you guys. Jim Lama-ram-a ding-dong doo-wa diddie diddie....... Squonk!
