It was. There was concerted terrorist campaign to found the state of Israel. I
believe it was
against the British. Not only that but I believe one of the PM's, (begin) I think was a
terrorist, pre Israel.
Of course this assuming that our govt and our history are not lying!
There was a Palestine before it became Israel. To expect that the Palestinaian people
will just
accept the situation is daft.
The killing, bu both sides, is appalling and cannot be justified. And anti-semitism
shown by
most of the world toward the Arabs (yes they are semites) does help matters. The
attitude that
Israel cano do no wrong, based I believe on collective guilt because of the Holocaust,
doesn't
help either.
And Mags, you don't have to be afraid to disagree, especially as you are quite able to
do so
without being rude or making judgements about the person you disagree with.
