This is NJC but Joni would love this movie. It opened today in NYC and since Johnny Depp is in it I went so I could gaze upon him again (he's the only actor that can get me into a movie on opening day). And in this one he even had an Irish accent, which combined with his looks is just way too much appeal for one man to have. It's dangerously heart-stopping (to me, anyway, and to all the women around me sighing in the audience :-). To the movie.... it's a beautiful looking "I laughed, I cried, I fell in love" movie about giving and healing and accepting each other and, instead of following the rules, following the heart. It's magical (overused word but it really is magical!). I expect to see it again, and probably again. So everyone, see this as soon as you can. Everything about it is wonderful. Debra Shea, truly not a Miramax shill, just a happy moviegoer today NPIMH: Django Reinhardt music that was in the movie; I want to hear more of that.
