I always thought it was Wi-SCON-sin! : )
As for the pronunciation of "sorry," just about
everywhere in the U.S. -- EXCEPT for Wisconsin -- it's
pronounced SAR-re, where the first syllable rhymes
with car and the second syllable has what sounds like
a long "e."
