Yes, but when I immediately wrote down Little Eva after the question had
been asked, the other 9 people at the table said "Who?!  Never heard of
her!"  So I told the story of how she'd been Carole King's
babysitter/housemaid/whatever and that the myth was that they heard her
singing and said "Oh, we must record your voice" and then the real story,
that she and Gerry Goffin already knew she could sing and were just waiting
for the right song.

See, Wally?  I definitely know my Carole King trivia!

Hell - struggling in the heat and humidity at 9.30pm, and with the damn
