Dear Just Wondering, Absoluuuuuuuuuutely. I used to want to be a Beatle sooooooo badly. ....Oh, I'm a girl.... Thank goodness Joni came along! Though you may not hear it their influence directly in my songs. They were/are a pinnacle of songwriting ability that to me has never been matched by anyone. Perhaps, even more than influencing my music, their music influenced my life. My world view. Etc. Anyway, I look forward to Christmas Day when the local FM rock station plays The Beatles all day long. I turn it on as soon as I get up it stays on all day into the night. I am reminded once again what extraordinary and different and groundbreaking songs they wrote. Then for the rest of the year I try & write songs that might come close. >>>Hey songwriters!
