>From a Buffalo TV station's web page I got this: '10,000 Maniacs guitarist Rob Buck has died of a progressive liver ailment. The Jamestown native was 42. Buck suffered from a liver ailment that worsened over the last few months. Band members say he spent the past two weeks in the intensive care unit of a Pittsburgh hospital. Buck co-wrote music for such hits as "These are the Days" and "Candy Everybody Wants" ' Here's a sample of "These Are The Days": ~~ These are the days.... ohhh... These are days you'll remember. Never before and never since, I promise, will the whole world be warm as this. And as you feel it, you'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky. It's true that you are touched by something that will grow and bloom in you. ~~ To reiterate, he was 42, folks. He was 42. He was 42. <chilly now end of summer no more shiny hot nights> Jim L'Hommedieu
