Joni sang The Man I love and Summer time on HH Gershwin's World CD They sound totaly different Than the BSN Standards. She sings these two songs to makes them sound like she's at a martini jazz bar with close friends behind her in the dark while she is in the smoky spot light. On the Chieftains Tears of stone cd has JM singing Magdalene Laundries ,they create a strange background harp, tin whistle,strings that gives a ghostly feeling.
