I have gotten very behind with JMDL over the last month or so. I got suddenly
very busy at work after I made a few posts and then got behind in reading the
digests - there are still at least 20 from more than a month ago that I
haven't read. I hope I'll have time to go back and read them before the new
year.
Joni's songs have been in my heart, though, and thanks to the trust,
generosity, and kindness of a great man on this list, I am now the proud owner
of an electric guitar, Gk-2A pickup and Roland VG-8! I feel like I have died
and gone to Joni music heaven!!! No more broken strings!!! I can switch
between The Gallery and Black Crow in the blink of an eye. This is just the
best thing anyone has ever done for me in my whole entire life and I will be
forever grateful!!!

I am very curious about Ramona. I would like to hear her sometime. The fact
that there are other excellent female musicians out there in addition to Joni
- Jonatha Brooke, Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Jennifer Kimball, Tina
Arena, Jan Arden, to name a few - makes me feel ever hopeful of finding yet
more beautiful music. Manhard, please let me know when and where Ramona will
be performing again. I live near Vienna, so could easily attend one of her
shows.
