All the best, Jim L'Hommedieu BTW, in tonight's episode 1 of "Jazz", they talked about an early player (who happened to be a black man) who turned down the opportunity to become the first artist to record Jazz. He was afraid that others would copy his licks. Instead the honor went to some white guy who claimed not only that whites invented Jazz, but that black people _couldn't play Jazz correctly_! I couldn't stop laughing because it was so preposterous.
