Bob's question has got me thinking about recording that song and the line right after
the ones I quoted last time.
But you're bound to lose
If you let the blues
Get you scared to feel.
And I feel like I'm just being born
JM put the downbeat and the high note on the word "feel" in "And I feel like" and I
thought it made more sense to stress the word "I" because it seems like the singer is
urging Willy to not be afraid to feel and then is saying because I feel wonderful - "a
shiny light breaking in a storm" or YOU are scared but I(stressed) feel like this.
Stressing the feel doesn't seem as clear but I wonder if JM didn't have something else
in mind.
