<<NP-Push The Button-meat puppets (oh no I am starting to like these guys)>> What's NOT to like about the Meat Puppets, Michael, except for their silly name and the fact that they have a penchant for cross-dressing...they were one of the few 'alternative bands' that survived the 80's, and their 90's releases were pretty much straight-up rock & roll from what I heard, with some nice acoustic rockin' sorta stuff as well. They have a nice feel for a melodic line too.
