I do know of one town in Connecticut that refused to recognize MLK birthday 
as a holiday until this year.  That town is Wallingford, CT.  So my 
question in addition to Gene's is.... are there any states with the 
condition I mentioned above?  Are there towns within a state that do not 
recognize Martin Luther King's birthday as a holiday?
