The opus "Yes Anastasia" is one of my top three Tori songs (along with Mary [b-side] and Little Earthquakes)! There are a few losses on that album, true, like "Wrong Band" but overall I think it is a good record... and thematically very solid - dealing with women's relationships with other women (thus... under the pink). I would agree though, that her most recent effort To Venus and Back, which isn't fueled by tragedy, doesn't seem like it is fueled by anything much. Rumors are starting that she may be releasing a new album this fall - but they are only rumors now - who knows? She just had a baby last year so it would be a "happy" album, I imagine. As far as Emily's Aimee Mann experience goes - I WANT TO SEE AIMEE MANN! She needs to come out to Ann Arbor, MI. Or play LA sometime between Feb 23-March 4 (which is when I'll be there!). Last year I was in LA around the same time period, and it *just* *happened* to be in the middle of the 2 weeks when Aimee/Michael were touring instead of playing in an LA club every Tuesday. Sucks to be me, right? Back to Joni (I've been OD'ing on See You Sometime. Does anyone else just love this song? Except for that really corny "mama lion" line I could certainly live without.) -Yael
