"Just Ice" ?

I don't get it.  In the first and second video tree Joni introduces "Sex
Kills" as if it is about a search for justice.  She talks about Plato's idea
of justice, including how it is its idealization of specialists is unjust to
a multi-dimensional artist like herself.

But what does a search for justice have to do with AIDS, riots, pollution,
etc.?  Is this song a skillfully made casserole of many ingredients or a
pureed collection of table scraps?
