I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who answered my question about the HDCD version of _Blue_ a couple of days ago. I'm now torn on whether to buy the gold edition or the HDCD -- either one would be higher quality than the standard issue, but I get the feeling the HDCD would be easier to find. Also, while I have a fairly decent component system, it's probably not high-end enough to really distinguish much of a difference between the two. Ultimately, what I'll likely end up doing is buying whatever one I'm able to find when I go shopping for it tomorrow -- if both editions are in stock, I'll probably go for the gold one.
