You're on, dude!
I want to make another point. One reason that I have not travelled to the
NO and NE Jonifests (besides MONEY!) is that I am very aware of my skill
level as a musician. Sure, I can bash away on dulcimer OK, but I am a
VERY rudimentary rhythm guitarist - the fewer chords the better! Now Paz
and some others of you can do wonderful open-tuning spot-on Joni
impressions. I'm lost. What I discovered Sunday evening was that some
of you also play Joni (and other!) songs in standard tuning - and, hey!
I can play along! So, in case there was anyone else hesitating on
attending a Joni gathering because of this issue (I'm probably the
only one to obsess on it) - don't! You'll play lots of Gs and Cs and
Ds and Fs.
