Hi Gang-
Sitting around the living room with the kids last night eating dinner,
we were watching Millionaire and we were surprised by the fact that my
friend Bobby ( a New Orleans musician/social worker from the bands Metal
Rose and Bag of Donuts) is on the show and winning. He is on again tonight
and apparently according to the local drums he actually wins money, but we
don't know for sure how much. How cool is that? Hey Bobby can you loan me
30-40 grand for the down payment of the JMDL Commune. Yea dude we are buying
Jim Morrison's old place. Yea well it was either that or the old Sharon Tate
place and that is no longer cool since Reznor owned it.
In other Louisiana news, our infamous Gov. Edwards and son (my former
school mate) are going to jail in Texas in seperate prisons.
Also Happy Birthday (60) Aaron Neville yesterday.
