As of late, I've been focussing on some of my other fave artists - I
always come back to Joni, but it's easy for me to forget about all that
other talent out there and get stuck in a Joni rut. DJRD is really my
fave - this disc is always revealing itself to me, something new every
time. Forever an odd recording, it resembles no other JM project. When I
first heard it, I hated it (not as much as I hated Mingus the first time
around though!), but that's all changed over the years. HOSL is a close
