The one thing I find missing from vinyl onto cd..which in my opinion
is a shame is the embossing. For instance as many of you know on the vinyl
release of HOSL the People and the snake are embossed, so if you were to
feel the record, they "pop out" of the cover slightly. That is the only
difference i could tell so far. I think it would be cool if they released
joni cds as truthful to the records as they have been doing lately.. with
artists like King Crimson (LiZard) and Cat Stevens.. SO, you would open the
cd just like the gatefold of a record and see joni swimming there in all her
glory.
