Arrrr, every time I'm reminded of this I think of "what might have been.."
A close friend has a friend who was the PR director of the Autry at the time
and she was always offering us VIP passes every week back then to all the
events. We never took her up on it, arrrr. I had some wrong idea that
anything at the Autry would be filled with old ladies and gentlemen
listening to Dale Evans or something. Arrrrrrrrrrrr! It's only a few
minutes drive from me, too. Ah well, live and learn. I totally agree it is
one of her finest live performances ever. I would have fainted to have been
there.
Now I'll go kick myself again for good measure ;-)
