This is my small salute to Al McGuire, whose descriptives commentating college basketball bordered on genius. Terms like "white knuckler" when a game was going to be a hard fought one. If a player missed a shot while trying to impress there was a little too much "french pastry". The "hail mary" pass (long full court pass) started with him. Now that is used by everyone. He will be missed by many. Mike
