it is a beaver! it's a little plane shadow floating and disappearing
and
reappearing and stretching and contracting as it falls in and out of the
cracks of this alaskan glacier. it's a really stunning shot - filmed on
super16mm and transferred to HDTV. joni floats in my head everytime i
see
it, completely taking over the film score in my mind.
this has been a great thread - it really makes joni shine in a big way
to
see these isolated lines carry so much meaning and imagery with them.
