Larry is an old pal ... he played on a few tracks of a couple of albums I did
in the late 70s, early 80s with my old band, the Simon and Bard Group. He
also did a little touring with us.

Larry's a great musician, and a true original. He played a Strat solo on a
rock anthem, "Two Gentlemen of Peru," on our album THE ENORMOUS RADIO, and
it's one of the most majestic, soulful, yet out-of-character things he's ever
played on record ... in a blindfold test *no one* would ever guess it was
Coryell, sounds more like Clapton, actually.

He's mostly playing straight-ahead jazz these days and playing better than
ever.
