Dr. Jan Hulsker, one of the world's foremost authorities on the letters of 
Vincent van Gogh, once wrote of them:

Patrick's post made me do a search online to learn more about the artist.

In reading some of these letters it is obvious of the love between he and his 
brother Theo, who I learned was at Vincent's side at the time of his death.
