if you were able to keep track back as far as 1969. how did you manage not
to lose those records with all the moving around people did in the 70's in a
pre computer era?
and by the way, the other night i couldn't sleep and on court tv they were
showing footage from the trial that went on between the widow and ex wife of
jerry garcia. the piece i saw had phil lesh in the witness stand and he was
asked to recall an event from the 70's and he looked really serious and said,
judge, i'm sorry....but there's about a ten year span from that time that
i've totally lost track of. and the judge smiled. now see....if only he had
kept notes!
