Diane,
I just wanted to say that I think this is really great...I guess I may still
be considered a kid at 21...but I remember in 8th grade I had a teacher who
did this and it was my favorite part of the class. She brought in Paul
Simon, and world music and if my memory wern't so bad I could remember the
others, but it was great exposure to great music. I remember her playing "I
Am A Rock" and being really struck by it because I felt like that so many
times in school since I was listening to Harry Chapin and I think I had
discovered Joni by then but often felt like that song. I was never doing
things people my age were supposed to be doing...lol. I just wanted to say
keep doing this cause I remember how much it meant to me.
