Grasping one of the threads that has been unraveling herein - I first
discovered Ms. Brooke in a record store (record, hmmm, he must be an old fart
- nobody calls 'em records anymore - they're CD's butthead) just down the
street from the Space Needle (and Paul Allen's architecturally organic
Experience Music Project) in Seattle. Walked in and was blown away by the
vocal phrasing being exhibited by the female vocalist they were playing on
the store system. Never bought any of her stuff. Don't know why. Guess I
will now. By the way, I'm up out of the 'bowels' of one of my occasional
manic episodes ("scream-bringing hoard of twisted truth, zoomzooming in this
blue-black world") - so I'll probably be pesterin' this list for a while.
Remember, I warned ya'! And Nikki, though I doesn't know ya' - still I
thought I'd throw ya' - a happy birthday wish from one Aquarian to another!
