sorry for those of you who are sick of all this
jonatha talk....
i bought the album on my way home from work last
night, and yes! it is great.
however, i don't think it's much of a departure from
10 cent wings, really. it's not a radical change, by
any means as far as i can tell.
it's got a bit of a rock attitude. it's a great piece
of work though. i am excited to hear it a few more
times.
wfuv just did a live interview with jonatha here in
new york, and she played a few songs. sorry, if i had
known about it i would have given you the heads up. i
just happened to tune in. wfuv does do streaming
media, so anyone who wants to check out the station
should do so. it's fantastic.
jonatha is also playing at border's downtown, which is
too far for me to go on a lunch hour. DAMMIT! ;-)
she just said she's coming back in may, though so i
guess i will have to wait.
meanwhile, get downtown if you live in the city!
and look for jeff! he'll be the really cute one
standing in the back.
take care,
alison e. in nyc
ps BOB: if you get that soundboard LET ME KNOW!!!
