Billboard 2/17 had a cover story on Ms. Nicks forthcoming album "Trouble in Shangri-La", including a small picture that makes her look 25, and comments by the lady herself. Highlights: Release date is now May 1 Singers contributing their talent include Sarah McLaughlin, Macy Gray, Dixie Chick Natalie Maines and Sheryl Crow, who also produced and collaborated on five of the tracks. Crow is also credited as co-author of "Sorceress", which, considering it is an old song of Stevie's, must have been rewritten or revised by Crow. Other producers include John Shanks and Pierre Marchand. Some song titles: Too Far From Texas/Bombay Sapphire/ Love Is/It's Only Love (a Crow composition).Two singles are planned: the "guitar charged" Planets of the Universe and the "sweet, string-laden" Everyday. US tour planned to run from June to Sept. featuring mainly classic material. There will be a showcase performance in LA shortly before the release date. The author says the CD shows Nicks in "her finest musical form since...Bella Donna..." Reprise label exec Rich Fitzgerald says "It's the record her die-hard fans have waited for.." nicks-fix.com will offer streaming samples of "Everyday" in late Feb/early March.
