I am a little puzzled by the Enya bashing. I only have "Watermark" but agree with what Chris T. wrote about her music being somewhat cutting edge when it first came out in the late 80s - it definitely sounded unique at the time. Maybe it sounds like all the rest of the New Age music to some now, but then I would have never thought to consider it that at all. To me is sounded more like some ancient Celtic hymms that had been electronica'ed into present day. There is a lot of beauty there. Being a Celt myself, I was quite taken by it on some ancestral memory level. But if Enya was *all* I heard all day, I might start getting a bit irritated ;-D Maybe the Irish listers Philip and Garret can give us their take (if they dare at this point!) > Joni has been given (by someone who apparently knows?) a 10 to 1 chance of > winning the best female pop Grammy.
