I agree here - it would be easier if these were 17 or 18 year olds (voting
and drinking age in NZ - not that that necessarily means anything) and
better able to make informed decisions, but I think 13 is a little too
young, and a little too impressionable, from what I know of 13-year-olds!
They would/will need firm guidance and strong direction in their thinking,
but even then I think 13 is too young.
