Aha! I thought they looked more Amazon-Riverish than
African! Thanks, Diane, for clearing that up. People
keep talking about the Africans on the cover and
franchement ma chere, they never looked very African
to me. It has been nagging at me for ages, in a stupid
sort of way, but of course, I'm too damned lazy to
bother checking it out or even raising the question.
