I was really glad to see U2 and Steely Dan win some well deserved
awards!(and Joni of course). My favorite moments were seeing U2 perform and
seeing Joni on the stage. I really think "All That You Can't Leave Behind"
is a simply brilliant album as I said the day it came out.

I saw Emimem perform and it was my first time seeing or hearing him. Here's
my take on it. He is very good at telling a story and creating these
characters that seem real. But I'm really not sure where to place him in my
mind. There is something about his work that is intriguing and yet there is
something I find vaguely disturbing, vaguely because I'm sitting here
thinking about it and it kind of creeps up on me on a somewhat subconcious
level and I find I'd really rather think about something else.

The controversy doesn't phase me...I just find there are so many disturbing
images in my mind already that creep in on a daily basis, listening to him
doesn't really do much for me. To tell you the truth, I really don't care
about him one way or the other. It's just not worth it. I think I will
just ignore him.

Life has seemed very precious lately and U2's album really expresses that.
I especially like the song "Stuck in a Moment". Springtime is coming. This
cold, hard winter has passed and the sun is shining again. I almost
thought it would never really arrive but is really coming.
