i thought you probably meant "shine", originally by
collective soul. she's been singing that around lately
on the talk shows, too. i didn't catch her performance
last night, as i quickly surrendered to "west wing"
the finest show ever.
i love dolly, myself (country speak: "i luuuv mahsef
some dolly!"). i think the "grass is blue" stuff she's
been doing lately is fantastic, and she gathered some
of the best bluegrass musicians alive to work with her
on it. i also have really enjoyed the trio work she's
done with emmy and linda.
i am a big fan of real, old school country. all three
hanks, willie, george, dolly, and by god...chris
