Oh, not really...thye had to be cringing to even be mentioned in the same breath as
The Backstreet Boys, N'Synch, etc...and what happened to Patti Smith's record? Not
even a NOMINATION for female vocal performance???? Gung Ho kicked major ass, as did PJ
Harvey!! And Radiohead was shut out, as were most of the truly grand music that came
out in the last year.
The Grammies mostly piss me off. They're based on sales and sentimentality. I watched
only for 2 reasons:
1. To see Joni!!!
2. So I could dish the dirt today about it with y'all!
