Sensationalisim appears to be taking the place of objective journalism. As
someone who has dabbled in press releases, both for an org I used to work
for, & for myself, it is very very difficult to get the attention of the
media without a really good story. However, these days it seems like a good
story translates into something extreme, shocking, horrible. These days, the
more horrific you are, the better chance you have at getting noticed.
Which brings me to Elton Johns suit last night at the Grammys. Now, there
is the real horror! Someone had to say it :~}
