Hey y'all
Another lurker compelled to speak up. Here I am in
Birmingham AL where I cannot recall having met anyone
in the past ten years who loves Joni's music, and in
the space of one day/two digests, out of cyberspace
appear two fellow listers from my town! How cool is
that?! Are there any more out there? We'll have a
mini-Joni fest here at this rate. Something tells me
these stifling suburbs just aren't the place to meet
such kindred spirits...
I have mostly lurked, but have always enjoyed this
intelligent, witty and knowledgeable group of folks
that make up the JMDL. I enjoy all sorts of music,
and have explored many new (to me) artists suggested
by the eclectic tastes of the JMDL. I am at the
moment trying to get into Jonatha. She's growing on
me, I must admit. In addition, I regularly listen to
Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Jackson Browne,
Shawn Colvin, Martin Sexton, U2, John Gorka, and I
could go on.
