As far as references go, there is a great Italian film called the Night of the
Shooting Stars and Ang Lee did a tribute to that in a shot that was all homage to that
film, and even more fun, Ang Lee's homage was in perfect
keeping with the Italian film. I thought it was a wonderful touch!
