It was a joke, Paul! Just a joke! I don't mind looking foolish. Good
thing, too, because with a sense of humor like mine, it can't be avoided.
I was just thinking yesterday about "songs are like tattoos." So are our
senses of humor, I think. Some of them are right out there, big and bold
and full of color. Some are hidden demurely behind clothing. And some have
never quite gone under the needle.
I was just at a job interview with the most smileless woman I've seen in a
while. Her mouth could make a smile, but the rest of her face didn't know
how to wear it.
I was going to ask the list members, as a thread, what tattoos they have.
What do Joni's fans wear on their skins? I saw a photo of LeeAnn Rimes the
other day, and noticed she has a new tattoo on her leg.
