ok, it's kinda dumb, since I already know the answer to this question, but......... Why aren't Joni's Geffen albums re-mastered and re-packaged as her Reprise and Asylum records are......?? Now, I know the answer: Geffen's distribution is through UNI (Universal) and they don't give a darn about her recordings as WEA (Warner/Elektra/Atlantic) does.....AND.....Her 60's and 70's albums are higher sellers anyway............BUT you would think when her "Hits" and "Misses" compilations were being issued that the record company would have looked at the situation and just did it anyway......I DO know that Geffen didn't even want to issue "Dog" and "Wild Things" on cd, but they re-issue all sorts of crap that shouldn't see the light of day (in my opinion)......Just for consistency I'd like to see those albums get the deluxe treatment as well......for packaging sake alone......!!! LOL............. AND>...........Has Joni gone GOLDLINE???? It's just bloody awful to see those bastardly stickers on "Dog"........What an insult............although it makes prices better for consumers.......Best Buy carries it for only $5.95................. anyways.....enough of my snickering..........Maybe we can rant and rave to UNI to think twice about their looked over treasures............
