yes, 'The Klan' is pretty intense... it has
a rather driving, melodramatic arrangement as
well... a good one to get people off the
fence in the days of the civil rights
movement. it was resurrected in 1980 by Gil
Scott-Heron on his 'Real Eyes' album.
it's somewhat ironic that after spending
much of my youth 'fighting the good fight'
for the rights of minorities, I have chosen
to live the last 25yrs of my life where I,
myself am a minority... educational, to say
the least. ;o)
